Hollie is a Maine Licensed Massage Therapist and currently offers many therapeutic massage services, including Pregnancy Massage and Cupping Therapy in Waterville, Maine. Hollie's interest in massage as a healing modality began when she herself was pregnant and received amazing pain relief from massage therapy. Shortly after she completed her certification for Massage Therapy she went on to further her education by becoming a Certified Pregnancy Massage Therapist, and also offers bodywork treatment for women struggling with fertility. On occasion she will serve as a birth doula for clients choosing to birth at home and has attended dozens of births over the past 10 years.
In 2015, Hollie traveled to San Jose, Costa Rica to complete a 7 day training with Erik Dalton, Ph.D to become a Certified Myoskeletal Therapist. She offers a variety of these learned techniques during her massage sessions, including cupping therapy and thai herbal treatments, in order to help her clients achieve their goals in health and wellness. Working with men, women, and children she has seen first-hand the benefits that regular massage sessions can have on the body, mind, and spirit.
Continuing her journey of personal and professional growth, 2017 marked the year Hollie completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Hallowell, Maine and shortly after graduation she attended the Holistic Yoga Flow's Yin Yoga Teacher Training with Travis Eliot (E-RYT 500). In the fall of 2018 she completed a 300-hour YTT with her teachers from Los Angeles and Boston as well as local yoga teachers at ShivaShakti in 2020 where she certified to teach Yoga Nidra. She found a new appreciation for movement in the body and enjoys sharing helpful yoga poses with her clients so they can also enjoy the benefits of yoga and freedom from pain.
While 2020 will forever be remembered as the year that changed many lives, Hollie found there was an increased need for people to have access to pain relief at home while massage therapy was no longer available for a time due to COVID-19 so she worked to create more of her 'Hippie Hollie' CBD body products. Her massage clients have benefited for years from her homemade pain creams and salves and now she's able to offer them to a larger population through the online shop feature on this site. Many of her products are also now available at several retail locations around Maine as well as available for shipping through this site.
As 2021 is now underway Hollie made the decision to open her home to her clients so they can safely and comfortably receive massage therapy sessions in a peaceful environment. She has a private massage room located within her home in Waterville where she offers therapeutic massage sessions by appointment only. At this time she is not accepting new clients due to a very full schedule.
